Overview
This position serves as the primary point of contact for Domestic Dental Service Organization market (DSO) and Domestic salesforce inquiries related to order processing, product configuration, warranty, and logistics. Incumbent works in tandem with sales to build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and are skilled at understanding, anticipating, and responding to distributors’ evolving business needs across the DSO market. Provide quoting and order administration, along with technical support and project coordination of large and/or special product orders.Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate various DSO project activities and communication across departments; research, quotes, shipments and installations, etc.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, sales management, territory managers and the customer to establish realistic schedules and ensure development of current and future project plans.
Accountable for the order cycle; create, document, and communicate fulfillment process to ensure world class delivery experience for customers.
Ensure open orders are accurate and are aligned departmental standards and timelines.
Resolve logistical challenges to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of shipments.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and administrative errors in a timely manner.
Work within established pricing guidelines, policies, and processes to provide custom product pricing. Evaluate and recommend alternative solutions as appropriate.
Document findings from risk analysis evaluations pertaining to specific projects and present to A-dec leadership.
Track and log all service and/or product-related defects reported in the field, collect all applicable information, and effectively communicate with necessary stakeholders to determine root causes and eliminate future defects.
Provide excellent customer service, build relationships and generate a positive customer/dealer experience by providing timely and consistent responses to internal and external inquiries.
Collaborate with and support team members and participate in group problem solving.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Generally requires approximately 2-3 years of experience in a product or customer support role. Two years of experience in A-dec Customer Service preferred.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both customers and teammates.
Excellent communication with internal teams, service providers, and customers.
Must also be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing and the ability to solve problems independently.
Must have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proven ability to prioritize and lead projects that meet requirements.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, using all available resources to accomplish work and benefit the customer.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft products; basic Excel formulas, Outlook, Word, etc and the ability to perform basic math calculations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with ERP systems.
A-dec product knowledge a plus.
