Job Title:  Sr. Analyst, OEM Customer Success

About the Role: As a Senior Analyst within the OEM Customer Success organization, you will serve as the data analytics lead and trusted advisor for one or more OEM clients. In this role, you will apply deep analytical expertise and industry knowledge to help clients make informed decisions across automotive quality and warranty reduction. Your work will directly support client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership growth.

In this role, you will:

Data Analysis & Insights

• Leverage intellectual curiosity and advanced business intelligence tools (e.g., Palantir, Tableau) to analyze industry trends and uncover actionable insights.
• Utilize advanced technical skills to perform complex data manipulation and develop repeatable, scalable analyses.
• Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights that inform client decision-making.

Client Management & Customer Success

• Serve as the primary customer success analyst for assigned OEM clients, building strong, trusted advisor relationships.
• Ensure clients effectively leverage JD Power data and analytics to generate high-value insights.
• Proactively identify opportunities and solutions that support warranty benchmarking, reduction, and root cause analysis.

Subject Matter Expertise

• Function as a subject matter expert on U.S. automotive quality and warranty reduction, including cost and frequency reduction, benchmarking to key competitors and understanding the relationship between OEM’s, dealers, and their part suppliers.
• Produce in-depth analyses explaining industry trends, competitive dynamics, and changes in OEM warranty strategies.

Communication & Influence

• Lead client discussions with JD Power users at OEMs, including onboarding and training for new product users.
• Develop and deliver clear, compelling presentations that demonstrate the value of JD Power’s data and services.
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders at varying levels, including senior leadership and executive audiences.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in automotive product planning, quality, product development, retail sales, reporting, consulting, or data and analytics roles.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven ability to analyze large, complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience creating and delivering presentations to executive-level audiences.
• Strong interest in and general understanding of trends within the automotive industry.
• Willingness to travel domestically within the US for on-site consultation up to 60% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Palantir Foundry
• Master’s degree or higher
• Experience with Python, Spark and SQL
• Experience in bringing together data sets across multiple sources, with multiple dimensions and layers of complexity.
• Previous leadership experience in past role

Compensation and Benefits 

This position has a starting salary range of $76,000 USD - 90,000 USD per year. The range represents what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for the role at the time of posting. An employee’s pay within the range is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, education, qualifications, experience, performance, business or organizational needs, and geographic location.
