We partner with people with disabilities to provide support services, develop inclusive housing, and create spaces where people feel genuinely connected—not just accommodated.    The Onboarding Specialist provides administrative and customer service support to participant employers within Fello's Financial Management and Consulting Services (FMCS) program, guiding them through the hiring, onboarding, and training compliance process in alignment with the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration and FMCS standards. Core responsibilities include processing new hire documentation, conducting background screenings, verifying work eligibility through USCIS Form I-9, documenting state-required training certifications, supporting employee benefits administration, and responding to onboarding correspondence and service tickets in accordance with established timelines. This is a full-time, primarily remote position that requires candidates to reside within a commutable distance of Fello Linthicum.  QualificationsThe ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to exceptional customer service, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively across diverse stakeholders. They possess strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. The successful candidate works well independently, determines priorities, and meets deadlines reliably, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team. They will have proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and other HR and payroll technology tools.    This position requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of experience in human resources processing of new hire documentation, utilizing HRIS systems and applying basic employment law requirements.
