About KIMARU Talent:
KIMARU Talent is a boutique executive search firm working with startups and growth-stage companies in AI, gaming, technology, and advertising. We take on fewer clients so we can go deeper on each search — real understanding of the role, the team, and what "yes" looks like for both sides.
We're not generalists who'll take any search. We focus on leadership and critical individual-contributor hires — the roles where getting it right changes the trajectory of the startup.
That depth is why most long-term clients give us access to their ATS, Slack, and internal comms. We're not a vendor you check in with weekly. We operate like an internal recruiter with an external network.
About the Company
Our client is a high-growth mobile advertising company using AI to help advertisers reach valuable audiences and sharpen their creative strategy. Their platform operates at massive global scale for leading app developers, and they are expanding beyond gaming into fintech, e-commerce, and social. The business has real momentum: Q3 was its highest-revenue quarter to date, and it has landed at 100–125% of forecast for seven consecutive quarters. It runs as a private, standalone company within a larger portfolio, headquartered in San Francisco with teams across the US, EMEA, and APAC.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CRO, this leader will run the Growth and Account Management teams across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, and will be accountable for protecting and growing the company's global revenue base. The role is open at the Senior Director or VP level, depending on experience.
San Francisco is preferred for proximity to leadership, with Los Angeles a strong second. EMEA candidates with existing work authorization will also be considered. Expect periodic travel to SF and LA, plus roughly 10 on-site client QBRs a year. The package includes a competitive base, an annual bonus, and equity in the operating company. It's a fast-paced, always-on environment during peak seasons.
What This Leader Will Do
Own global revenue retention: reduce churn, grow share of wallet, and drive adoption of new products.
Guide onboarding for new non-gaming verticals, including fintech, e-commerce, and social.
Build a single global onboarding process so campaigns launch faster and more accurately.
Hold the team to high standards on forecasting, account plans, and QBRs for top-tier accounts.
Run an early-warning system for at-risk accounts.
Turn client feedback into clear input for Product and Operations.
Set a consistent coaching rhythm for regional managers, document revenue workflows and roles, and lead global hiring so new team members ramp within 90 days.
What You Bring
Strength in at least two of these three areas:
Functional: 8+ years in Customer Success, Growth, or Account Management, ideally in AdTech or MarTech.
Leadership: 5+ years leading distributed global teams.
Ecosystem: Deep understanding of mobile DSP/programmatic and performance user acquisition.
Plus an execution-minded approach (you can explain the how, not just the what) and executive presence with C-level stakeholders.
