Job Summary
Innovative PR is looking for a charismatic Public Relations Account Coordinator for our Beauty & Lifestyle Team with a passion coordinating and supporting Account Executives in PR strategies to secure press, experience communicating with talent agents for social and celebrity deals, and a knack for event coordination. The ideal candidates will have excellent written communication skills, a general understanding of the media landscape, and a passion for helping clients amplify their brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
The Public Relations Account Coordinator Responsibilities will be (but are not limited to):
- Support and coordinate Account Executive with multiple client account programs and teams delivering strategic value
- Support and coordinate day to day activities on client accounts and regular conference calls
- Brainstorm creative partnership and activation ideas for clients as well as new business opportunities
- Support and coordinate launch strategies surrounding client partnerships and activation
- Support and coordinate planning and execution of client events (i.e. vendors, production, invite outreach, budget, etc.)
- Multitask, support, and coordinate across multiple client accounts and projects under deadline
- Support and coordinate Account Executives to ensure that key milestones and projects are on track, within prescribed timelines and on budget, etc.
- Support and coordinate with Influencer Team on outreach for brand partnerships need be such sendouts and mailers
- Stay on top of entertainment and celebrity tastemakers for partnership advisory of brand campaigns
- Track industry trends and identify relevant opportunities for clients
- Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Assist in the development of proposals for new business presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- A minimum of 1-3 years of previous experience working with beauty and lifestyle brands in house or at a public relations agency
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace products (Sheets, Slides, Spreadsheets)
- Preferred previous experience working with Influencers and/or Influencer marketing campaigns
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and time management skills
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Preferred proficiency in PR tools (i.e. Muck Rack, Cision, Airtable)
