ROLE SUMMARY
The eCommerce Account Coordinator is the day-to-day operational support to our Amazon and Wayfair global businesses. This role combines platform expertise, analytical thinking, and strong cross-functional coordination to protect and grow Step2's pure play ecommerce presence — maintaining listing integrity, resolving operational issues, managing promotions, and ensuring Step2 competes at full strength on the world's largest eCommerce platforms. New item setup is owned by the eCommerce Merchandising team; this role focuses on account health, commercial operations, and performance optimization for the existing catalog.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Account Management Serve as the primary operator of Amazon Vendor Central and Wayfair Partner Home across all Step2 markets (US, CA, MX) — maintaining account health and ensuring listings are accurate, compliant, and retail-ready.
- PDP Monitoring & Optimization Conduct regular 80/20 ASIN reviews utilizing internal PDP monitor tools — monitoring top-performing products for content gaps, suppressed listings, and competitive threats; driving resolution with urgency.
- Listing Health Monitor and resolve suppressed or stranded listings — identify root causes and partner with internal teams and retailers to resolve quickly.
- Case Management Manage and track Amazon Vendor Central and Wayfair Partner Home cases (RBS and other) — escalate appropriately and close the loop with stakeholders.
- Launch Support - Validate new listing accuracy after item syndication by ecommerce merchandising team and syndicate PDP content updates as they become available
- Pricing Compliance - Monitor pricing across Amazon and competitive platforms — flag disruptive retail pricing and coordinate enforcement with sales and sales support teams
- Documentation & Process - Maintain key operational documentation and trackers in organization’s project management tools— item readiness, pricing, promotional calendars, and account health logs.
- Regulatory Compliance – Complete direct validation compliance submission process in collaboration with the Product Safety team and test lab to avoid product suppression
- Cross-Functional Coordination - Partner regularly with Merchandising, Creative, Sales, Product Safety, Product Quality and Commercial teams to ensure Amazon is aligned with broader business priorities.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Amazon account health metrics are consistently green across all markets
- Suppressed or stranded listings are identified and resolved quickly — minimal time-to-fix
- Top ASINs are reviewed regularly; content and performance gaps are caught and closed proactively
- Develop collaborative relationships with retailer customer success managers to escalate and resolve platform issues
- Pricing is monitored and disruptions are escalated and resolved promptly
- Weekly reporting is delivered on time with clear, actionable insights
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce, Amazon Vendor Central, or retail operations
- Working knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central and Wayfair Partner Home and its tools/processes; experience with multi-country accounts a plus
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, data analysis)
- Working experience with product syndication, digital shelf monitoring, and project management tools
- Detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent organizational and follow-through skills
- Proven ability to establish, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and team members to drive collaboration, trust, and long-term success
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify patterns and trends to support informed decision-making and problem-solving
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple competing priorities
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position will perform most job duties in an office environment where using a computer, software applications, telephone, printer, etc. are essential.
