ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Develop and maintain solid customer relationships for
assigned accounts
• Function as a liaison between our customers and Carlex
plant management
• Analyze and communicate customer orders and priorities as
received via EDI, E-mail or telephone
• Manage and prepare documents for incoming and outgoing
shipments
• Work closely with production, shipping, receiving and
management team to ensure successful adherence to
customers’ requirements
• Coordinate transportation with assigned Logistic companies
• React appropriately and in a timely manner to all customer &
material issues
• Provide internal support to the Materials group as required
• Cross train with other analysts on the team
• Assist in the launch and set up of new parts for respective
customers
• Assist in maintaining rack inventory
• Set up expedite service when issues arise with transportation
delays or material losses
• Monitor EDI order and resolve potential disruptions to
scheduled customer shipments
• Assist with optimizing shipment management

KEY COMPETENCIES
• Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office
Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Microsoft Project
• Self-directed & results oriented
• Strong technical background in distribution and Logistics
• Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis
• Excellent Analytical Skills
• Clear and systematic thinking with the ability to execute
• Able to manage, prioritize, and execute competing, timesensitive duties
• Ability to manage & order material & supplies from outside
sources as required
• Ability to access customer websites/portals
• Knowledge of inventory control systems

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required and
4+ years of equivalent experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred
Years of Experience:
• 4+ years of experience as a Customer Liaison or Service
Analyst
• Tier 1 Automotive experience preferred
Other Requirements:
• Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be
required as work load or projects dictate, including
weekends and holidays
