Job DescriptionGilsbar is searching for an Account Coordinator to join our Operations Team.  This position plays a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with offsite brokers and carriers, ensuring that Gilsbar consistently delivers top-notch expertise, prompt service, and innovative solutions.  Job Duties: Collaborates with offsite brokers/carriers to provide new and renewal services, when necessary, noting incomplete or missing items and communicating regarding insufficient information.   Manages the renewal application process by sending out applications and providing quotes. Provides appropriate industry proof of insurance to clients in the form of certificates of insurance or copies of declaration pages, as per specified procedures and guidelines. Communicates with clients through various channels including fax, certified mail-outs, priority mail, phone, and email.  Processes and issues Extended Reporting Endorsements when necessary.   Qualifications:  High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). 1-2 years of experience preferred, but not required.  P&C License Required, Gilsbar will pay for certification and testing for the ideal candidate.  General knowledge of Microsoft Office.  Ability to adhere to a work schedule and work independently in a remote/hybrid setting.  Proficient verbal and non-verbal communication skills; able to read and interpret documents and produce correspondences.    Benefits: Hybrid work schedule (considered after training and job proficiency attainment)  Employer-paid training and professional development, including education courses, certifications, and licenses.  Health, Dental, and Vision benefits effective after 30 days of employment.  Company-paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability effective after 30 days of employment.  401k with company matching.  Paid holiday, vacation, and personal time.    Gilsbar is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate on the basis of any characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
