About the Role
Job Overview
Under the general direction of the Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations, provides comprehensive administrative support to the Talent Acquisition section within the People Experience & Culture department, with a primary focus on coordinating and facilitating all stages of the onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
What you will be doing:
Manages the candidate experience from the time an offer is accepted to New Employee Orientation, including collecting and inputting all new hire information and paperwork, pre-employment testing and screenings, and being the main point of contact for questions.
Operates as an authorized signatory on behalf of new employees to assist in the badging process prior to new employee orientation.
Posts job openings on internal/external websites and niche job boards as well as other publications and organizations.
Assists Talent Acquisition Specialists with sourcing and pre-screening application information provided by job applicants. May conduct phone interviews, as needed.
Assists in creating and formatting interview guides, creating interview folders, and maintain interview records.
Processes travel arrangements including the arranging and confirmation of flights, hotels, rental cars, etc. for out-of-town candidates during the interview process and for new hires.
Inputs, tracks and maintains candidate and process information into the ATS database and appropriate files. Processes and generates reports. Ensures information is complete and accurate.
Schedules, facilitates, and assesses the results of various pre-employment testing such as pre-employment physicals, drug screenings, leadership assessments, office automation, customer service aptitude, as well as DOT, DPS, and CJIS testing.
Completes I-9 documentation for new hires including E-Verify submissions.
Facilitates New Employee Orientation in conjunction with the Learning and Development team and coordinates with new hires to ensure all information is received and validated prior to the employee’s start date.
Stays informed about legal requirements and compliance regulations related to onboarding, ensuring all processes adhere to employment laws and regulations.
Supports the Talent Acquisition team with ad hoc projects, requests and other related duties as assigned.
What you need:
Completion of a high school education or equivalent.
Two (2) years increasingly responsible administrative experience Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of current rules, regulations, laws, principles, practices and policies related to human resources administration.
Skill in screening applicants for basic qualifications.
Skill in communicating with others both verbally and in writing at all levels within and outside of the organization.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to understand and interpret current Airport Board policies, practices and procedures.
Ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks, differentiate among competing demands and work under time pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to utilize databases for query and reporting purposes.
Ability to work with the public and other employees in a pleasant and tactful manner.
Ability to safeguard sensitive or confidential information from intentional or unintentional disclosure.
Ability to check information and identify errors.
Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.
Desirable:
Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, human resources or related field.
Experience working in a Human Resources Department.
Experience with Public Safety Testing & Onboarding.
Efforts:

Drives to locations on and off Airport property.
