About the Role
The Key Account Manager is crucial for the sustained success of IRP Medical. The KAM is responsible for the day-to-day management, sustainment and growth of key accounts by owning the representation of Key Accounts at across IRP Medical departments. Builds strong relationship with customers based on prompt and active communication, providing on-time response to RFQs, processing on-time new purchase orders across contract review, providing prompt status updates and required information from other departments at IRP Medical. Owns and manages Key Account Scorecards, partners with departments to achieve 100% quality and 100% on time delivery ratings. Support the creation of proposals, recommend pricing, and execute contracts. Contributes to build a strategy to offer a customized customer experience for the designated key accounts. Works closely with field sales teams to support the growth and financial performance of the account.

- Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
- May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Becomes the point of contact for designated customers at IRP Medical manufacturing location.
- Ensures premier customer service and full satisfaction of customers by escalating and requesting the necessary resources to ensure 100% Quality and 100% on-time delivery for key accounts.
- Owns and manages key account scorecards. Maintain Customer Portals as necessary
- Management of Salesforce for accuracy and distribution of information.
- Identify, maintain and document strategic relationships inside the account and outside the account (i.e., consultant, competitor, channel partner).
- Ensures on time processing of RFQs and New Purchase orders across IRP Medical workflows.
- Provides status updates, partners with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to prepare Line of Balance or delivery schedules.
- In collaboration with sales accounts owners, supports, leads meetings, calls and visits from customers at IRP Medical. Ensures that necessary stakeholders are invited, agendas and strategy are defined, actions are recorded, tracked and objectives are met. Prepares presentations with analytics as required for key accounts.
- Develops positive relationships with existing, new and target customers.
- Resolve conflicts and provide satisfactory solutions to customers in a timely manner.
- Support order entry process by providing directions to order entry team.
- Interface between customer and internal stakeholder (ENG, OPS, QA) to estimate and provide necessary information for RFQ.
- Review, recommend pricing, upload documents to pricing committee and submit proposals to customers.
- Ensures customer documentation is distributed and retained.
- Leads contract review for the Key designated accounts. Ensures that technical and PO requirements are flown down to IRP Medical and through contract review.
- Travel to customer site as needed.
- Assume additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales, Account Management or Technical Sales servicing in either medical or aerospace
- 5+ years of experience creating LOBs/Schedule/Delivery Plans in excel, PowerPoint presentations for program and account updates.
- Excellent analytical abilities, experienced utilizing ERPs workflows for RMA process and Contract Review.
- 5+ years of experience in pricing proposals. Understanding of pricing and margin, EOQ, concepts and strategies.
- Proven experience with problem-solving and understanding complex workflows and data reporting to drive compliance and on-time closure of workflows.
- Results focus, customer service orientation, action orientation, planning & organizing, teamwork & cooperation, decision-making skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project and other PC based office tools. Must be able to utilize mid-advanced search formulas and dynamic tables in excel.
- Proven negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills.
- Resilient, positive and assertive communication.
- Must have good listening skills and the ability to be mindful and attentive to feedback from customers.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Strong aptitude with stakeholder engagement.
- Education/Certification: Bachelor Level degree. MBA preferred.
