About Monaire

Monaire helps commercial buildings reduce HVAC energy and maintenance costs using a combination of smart hardware, sensors, and cloud software.

Our system works alongside HVAC service providers who install and support Monaire technology in the field. By combining real-time data with contractor expertise, we help buildings run more efficiently while making HVAC service more proactive.

We’re looking for someone who can help service providers successfully install Monaire systems in the field.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll work directly with HVAC contractors to help them install Monaire hardware, train technicians, and troubleshoot issues during early deployments.

Your job is to make sure service providers can confidently install and support Monaire systems without constant help from our team.

This role involves regular travel to customer sites.

Support Hardware Installations

• Work with HVAC service providers to deploy Monaire hardware in buildings
  

• Guide contractors through installation of sensors, thermostats, gateways, and controllers using the Monaire app
  

• Verify systems are installed correctly and communicating with the Monaire platform
  

• Help resolve installation issues during early deployments
  

Train Service Providers

• Deliver in-person training for HVAC technicians and service teams
  

• Teach installation workflows and troubleshooting processes
  

• Help contractors become confident installing Monaire systems independently
  

Act as a Product Expert

• Answer technical questions from service providers
  

• Help diagnose hardware, connectivity, or configuration issues
  

• Work with Monaire engineering to resolve field issues
  

• Identify recurring installation problems and improve documentation
  

Improve Deployment Workflows

• Provide feedback from the field to improve Monaire hardware and software
  

• Help simplify installation processes and training materials
  

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to improve contractor experience
  

This role ensures contractors can confidently install and support Monaire systems, enabling faster deployments and better outcomes for building owners.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with HVAC systems, building automation, or controls
  

• Comfortable working with hardware installations and field troubleshooting
  

• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to field technicians
  

• Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations and training
  

• Highly organized and comfortable working with contractors and customers
  

• Experience commissioning HVAC or BAS systems
  

• Experience training technicians or contractors
  

• Familiarity with IoT devices, sensors, or smart building technology
  

• Experience troubleshooting networking or connectivity issues
