About the Role
Maintenance Account Manager
Position Summary
The Maintenance Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of landscape maintenance clients. This role is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance, while also identifying opportunities for growth through enhancements and additional services.
This position requires a balance of relationship management and field operations oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Relationship Management
Serve as the primary liaison for assigned client accounts, building strong and long-term relationships to ensure client retention. Communicate regularly with clients to address needs, concerns, and service expectations. Lead contract renewals and maintain service agreements.
Operations
Conduct regular site visits and property inspections to ensure quality standards are met. Partner with Production and Operations teams to execute work efficiently. Manage punch lists, service schedules, and ensure contract compliance.
Financial & Business Management
Manage budgets, job costs, and gross margins for assigned accounts. Track labor, materials, and production performance. Review budget versus actual reports and identify improvement opportunities. Prepare and present accurate estimates for maintenance and enhancement projects.
Revenue Growth & Sales
Identify upsell opportunities in enhancements, irrigation, and additional services. Develop and present proposals to clients. Support business growth through relationship expansion and new opportunities.
Leadership & Team Support
Collaborate with and support Production Managers and field teams. Provide guidance, accountability, and performance feedback. Promote teamwork, a positive culture, and employee development. Assist in resolving employee relations or operational challenges.
Administrative & Compliance
Maintain accurate job files, contracts, and customer records. Utilize company systems such as Aspire for reporting and tracking. Ensure all company procedures and documentation standards are followed.
Qualifications
Experience in account management, operations, or sales, preferably within the landscape or service industry. Strong understanding of job costing, budgeting, and financial performance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Aspire experience is a plus.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively. Leadership mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
Valid driver license required. Ability to travel locally for site visits and client meetings.

Combination of field and office work. Ability to work outdoors and perform site inspections. Fast-paced, client-focused environment.
