About the Role
Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for an experienced account management specialist to support our Lakeland, FL. team.
Role Summary:
This position is the primary liaison between the divisions of Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies and the customers who purchase our materials. Our Account Management Specialist are responsible for delivering The Carlisle Experience by getting the right product, to the right place, at the right time, in the right condition, with the right invoicing – and being a pleasure to do business with throughout. TheAccount Management Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining and nurturing relationships between a company and its clients or customers.This is also the customer’s primary point of contact for resolution of problems as they arise. This individual will be expected to form strong relationships with internal and external customers, representatives, and Carlisle regional sales managers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handles all requests for an assigned territory of customers, managing customer orders from placement through successful delivery and invoicing, providing accurate lead times and verifying pricing.
- Ensures basic Customer account information is kept up to date, address, contact information, etc.
- Works with colleagues in inventory and production planning to source material for orders.
- Reviews open orders regularly to proactively identify and work through changes, rescheduling shipments with customers when needed.
- Maintains a network of appropriate contacts within the various departments such as Inventory Management, Shipping, Purchasing, AP, and Production as well as with external vendors.
- Creates a strong relationship with customers, representatives, and regional managers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum one-year experience in order management or customer service.
- Minimum one-year experience working to serve internal and/or external customers.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to handle a high workload volume.
- Basic negotiation skills.
- Basic mathematics skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to answer various customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Office Environment
- Occasional exposure to manufacturing areas.
- Individual business hours may be 8 am – 5 pm, 7am-4pm, or 9am-6pm Monday through Friday depending on geographic territory served.
