About the Role
The Account Coordinator supports the Prepreg business by assisting Sales Account Managers and Directors and serving as a communication bridge between key internal and external stakeholders. This role ensures smooth order‑to‑fulfillment processes by coordinating with Sales, Customers, Sales Operations, and Compliance teams while maintaining accurate ERP and CRM records. The Account Coordinator ensures that quotes, purchase orders, and compliance documentation flow correctly through the organization and align with internal processes and regulatory requirements. The position also collaborates across CMA sites and with Toray‑Japan and Toray‑US teams to support alignment and reduce risk within CMA’s product fulfillment processes. Overall, this role helps protect company interests and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance throughout all sales support activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Support
· Serve as a liaison between Sales Account Managers, Directors, VPs, Customers, Sales Operations, and Compliance to ensure clarity, accuracy, and timeliness across communication and deliverables.
· Assist with customer inquiries, order updates, documentation requests, and general sales support needs.
· Coordinate resolution of customer issues by collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely follow‑through.
ERP & CRM Management
· Enter and maintain accurate data for customer quotes, purchase orders, pricing, compliance documents, and contract details in ERP and CRM systems.
· Validate order information for completeness, compliance, and accuracy before submitting for processing.
· Monitor order status, fulfillment progress, and purchase order lifecycle, ensuring stakeholders receive updates as needed.
Documentation & Compliance
· Manage and track paperwork associated with customer orders, including quotes, PO revisions, and compliance documentation, ensuring timely entry into ERP and CRM systems.
· Coordinate compliance‑related submissions between stakeholders, ensuring required information and documents are collected and entered on time.
· Support adherence to governmental and regulatory requirements, including DFARS, FAR, DoD, DPAS, and other applicable frameworks.
Reporting & Analytics
· Assist in preparing regular and ad hoc reports, including:
o Sales KPIs
o Fulfillment and revenue metrics
o Purchase order and backlog status
o Customer activity summaries
· Identify trends and discrepancies and provide initial analysis to support Sales Account Managers and Sales Operations leadership.
· Contribute to process development across the sales lifecycle, including ERP and CRM workflows, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline communication.
· Participate in cross‑functional improvement initiatives involving sales processes, compliance workflows, and documentation standards.
Travel
· Up to 25% travel may be required for customer visits, internal meetings, training, or trade events.
Skills and Specifications
· Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and departments.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
· Ability to quickly learn and navigate Microsoft D365 ERP and CRM systems.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
· Team‑oriented, proactive, and capable of building strong internal and external relationships.
· Familiarity with carbon fiber, prepreg, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or compliance‑driven environments is a plus.
Education and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Supply Chain preferred.
· 3–5 years of experience as a Sales Coordinator, Account Coordinator, Inside Sales Representative, or similar role.
· Experience working with enterprise systems or databases is an advantage.
· Understanding of U.S. export control regulations and governmental frameworks (DFARS, FAR, DoD, DPAS) is beneficial but not required.
· This position involves working with technologies and information subject to U.S. export control regulations. Toray CMA must review certain candidate information—including citizenship, basis of U.S. work authorization, and country of origin—for export control screening purposes only.

Position requires the ability to read, write, speak and understand English at a level necessary to successfully perform assigned responsibilities. Ability to utilize/operate a computer, peripheral equipment and appropriate software. The ability to hear, speak, use hands/fingers and the repetitive motions of hands/wrists are frequent. Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to move within the production area and occasionally climb stairs. Vision abilities require the adjustment and focus of sight. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.
