2026 Undergraduate Summer Intern – Job Posting
Department Title: Undergrad Intern – FTT IEO Customer Success
Location: The intern candidate must be able to commute into the Baltimore, MD office each week.
Position Summary:
First year interns in technology have the opportunity to participate in our tech department rotation program. During this program interns will work with several groups within the technology team. This year we are also hoping to add a security team rotation as well.
As the technology consultant and provider for Franklin Templeton and its SIMS, interns have an opportunity to work with multiple departments and organizations to gain perspective in how we lead the business with Tech.
An FTT IEO Customer Success Intern at Franklin Templeton can expect to gain:
Interns in the rotation program should expect to learn various skills including but not limited to:
- Enterprise service management,
- AWS,
- Project support,
- Business analyst skills,
- Corporate systems,
- Data tools
- AI, automation, and more!
Key responsibilities may include:
- Xceptor Overview - Training and building a hands-on use case using Xceptor Tool
- MS Power Platform Overview - Training and Building a hands-on use case using Power Platform Tool
- Reflect, Q&A using Automation Tool
- Provide on-site technical support and customer service as well as remote user support.
- Escalate issues to the appropriate teams and drive to closure
- Manage the ticketing queues to ensure issues are prioritized and actioned
- Deep dive on PMO
- Attend capacity planning workshops
- Introduction to Snowflake and Databricks
- Analytics Tools Overview
- Usage and Cost Analysis
- Enterprise Architecture, EA Domains, and its services
- Various data platforms in FT and how is it used
- Data & Analytics Architecture
- Data & Analytics Engineering

Compensation Range: This is a full-time internship where students will work approximately 40 hours per week and earn competitive hourly pay of $26 USD per hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation.
