Are you ready to make an impactw inw the world of commercial interiors? The Shaw Contract team is hiring in Miami, FL! As an Account Executive,w you’llw work closely with architects, designers, business owners, and contractors to bring high-quality flooring solutions to life. This individual will cover accounts inw Miami,w Dade County.w This role will have a heavy focus on Corporate Workplace + Multifamily segments.w Candidates should bring a strong prospecting and business development skillset, with a demonstrated ability to generate new opportunities and build a consistent pipeline. Success in this role requires comfortw operatingw within a structured sales process (SPPM) to qualify prospects, advance opportunities, and drive new business growth.w

Responsibilities:w

  • Work with architects, designers, flooring contractors, end users, contractors, etc. to selectw appropriate productsw for their projects that fit within their design criteria,w budgetw andw time frame.w

  • Travel daily throughoutw assignedw area to call on existing customers and prospect new customers tow solicitw business.w

  • Manage project fromw inceptionw to completion including identifying opportunity, product selection, specification, order placement, order tracking, delivery coordination, installation oversight, punch walk/ claim coordination (if necessary), and communication of maintenance program.w

  • Must be motivated and comfortable working and supporting a closely knit team environment.w

  • Must be able and competent to work with and manage customer base thru CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool such as Salesforce.comw

  • Follow up on a variety of leads from sources such as Dodge & networking groupsw

  • Build relationships with existing and new customers by entertaining such as lunches,w dinnersw orw special events.w

w

Commercial Account Executives must implement the selling process in his/her area; they must have the ability to make good judgment decisions. A full understanding of the product line is essential. Furthermore, an understanding of the application that each product serves is critical. The ability to interface/communicate with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner isw a must. The ideal candidate willw possessw a flexible personality and be able to communicate clearly to otherw persons, both orally and in written form. Commercial Account Executives must give presentations to architects, designers, and end-users to educate them on the flooring industry and how Shaw Contract canw benefitw them on their projects.w

Qualifications:w

  • High School Diploma/GEDw requiredw

  • 5+ yearsw commercial interiorsw experiencew requiredw

  • Demonstrated success in new business development, including prospecting, pipeline creation, and securing new accounts to expand territory presence.w

  • Living inw Miami Dadew

  • Experience calling onw commercialw A&D, flooring contractors & end use channelsw w

w

Preferred Qualifications:w

  • Bachelor's degreew

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanishw
