Job Summary:
The SR AE is responsible for for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities across our target healthcare verticals. You will serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, articulating the clinical and operational value of IntelePeer's AI-powered communications platform.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a territory plan to drive new logo acquisition across healthcare verticals including ambulatory care, dental DSOs, health systems, and payers.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand clinical workflows, patient engagement challenges, and technology gaps.
• Articulate IntelePeer's platform value — including SmartFlow, AI Agent suite, and SmartAnalytics — in the context of measurable business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Product teams to develop tailored demonstrations and proposals.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast in CRM (Salesforce), with consistent deal hygiene and progression updates.
• Represent IntelePeer at industry events, conferences, and trade shows including HIMSS, ViVE, and HLTH.
• Develop and manage relationships with channel partners, GPOs, and technology consultants to expand pipeline.
• Stay current on competitive landscape, healthcare regulatory trends (e.g., HIPAA, CMS), and AI/CCaaS market developments.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree is required
• 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with meaningful tenure in healthcare IT, AI platforms, CCaaS, or voice SaaS — this is a hard requirement.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a complex, enterprise SaaS sales environment.
• Deep understanding of healthcare operations, including clinical workflows, patient access, and revenue cycle dynamics.
• Experience selling to C-suite and VP-level stakeholders across IT, Operations, and Clinical leadership.
• Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and modern sales enablement platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to deliver compelling executive presentations.
• Familiarity with AI, conversational automation, or contact center technology strongly preferred.
Key Competencies:
• Experience selling into ambulatory care groups, dental DSOs, or multi-site health systems.
• Existing relationships within healthcare IT, CMIO, COO, or VP Patient Experience networks.
• Background in clinical communications platforms (e.g., Nuance, Verint, NICE, Genesys, Five9, or similar).
• Familiarity with healthcare AI use cases such as automated appointment reminders, nurse triage automation, or prior auth workflows.
Physical Requirements:
? Sedentary work lifting no more than 10 pounds.
? Occasional lifting, carrying, and standing.
? Frequent hand/eye coordination to operate office equipment.
? Vision sufficient to read computer screens, reports, and related department documents.
? Dexterity to operate computer keyboards and other related office equipment.
? Endurance sufficient to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
? Frequent speech communication and hearing.
