About the Role

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Technical Account Manager in the United States.

This is a senior, client-facing technical leadership role supporting enterprise financial institutions as they modernize their digital banking capabilities. You will act as the primary technical advisor for a portfolio of strategic clients, ensuring platform adoption, system health, integration success, and long-term value realization. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and client success, requiring strong technical depth and executive communication skills. You will lead complex escalations, guide integration strategies, and translate technical insights into clear business outcomes. A key aspect of the position is shaping an AI-first client success model, leveraging modern AI tools to improve operational efficiency and technical intelligence. This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences client outcomes and product evolution in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Accountabilities

You will own the technical success strategy for enterprise clients while serving as a trusted advisor across integration, adoption, and platform performance. You will:

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for strategic financial institution clients, ensuring alignment between technical execution and business goals.
  • Lead technical business reviews, escalations, and proactive risk identification across APIs, integrations, deployments, and system configurations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Client Success to resolve complex issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Design and operationalize AI-assisted workflows for account intelligence, incident analysis, documentation, and escalation management.
  • Translate technical findings into executive-ready insights, structured playbooks, and actionable improvement plans.
  • Support product adoption, onboarding, and training through technical enablement and documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of client success processes, scalability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

You bring deep experience in post-sales technical leadership within enterprise or fintech environments, combining strong systems thinking with client-facing credibility. You have:

  • 10+ years in roles such as Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, Implementation Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical positions.
  • Strong expertise in APIs, system integration, authentication, logs, deployment behavior, and incident troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience managing high-severity escalations and cross-functional resolution efforts.
  • Ability to deliver executive-level technical briefings, account reviews, and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
  • Experience building technical documentation, runbooks, and enablement materials.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Postman, and modern AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, AWS Kiro).
  • Background in fintech, banking, payments, or regulated SaaS environments is highly valued.
