Job Description
Manages the contract renewal process for existing financial institution partners supported by Elan. Responsible for coordinating timely, accurate, and value‑based renewals through collaboration with internal teams including Account Executives, Finance, Legal, and Operations. Engages directly with partner institutions to present renewal terms and ensure execution, supporting client retention and revenue protection. Does not own the ongoing client relationship or sales strategy, but serves as a critical liaison during the renewal lifecycle.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supports client retention strategies by managing the end‑to‑end contract renewal process for existing financial institution partners.
Coordinates renewal activities across internal stakeholders, including Account Executives, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure accurate pricing, terms, and documentation.
Engages directly with partner institutions to present renewal proposals, explain contractual terms, and facilitate timely execution of agreements.
Manages multiple concurrent renewals, prioritizing deadlines, approvals, and deliverables to ensure renewals are completed on time.
Partners closely with relationship managers and account executives, providing renewal expertise and execution support while not owning the overall account relationship.
Prepares renewal proposals, contract documentation, and supporting materials; ensures accuracy and completeness prior to execution.
Maintains accurate records related to renewals within CRM and tracking systems, ensuring documentation and approvals are properly recorded.
Provides internal and external communication related to renewal status, risks, and escalation items as needed.
Analyzes renewal outcomes and contributes to process improvements, including retention metrics, scorecards, and early warning indicators.
Supports organizational initiatives related to contract renewal standardization and client retention strategies
Maintains working knowledge of Elan products, services, contract structures, internal policies, and applicable regulatory requirements relevant to renewals.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting contract renewals, contract management, or client-facing operational roles within financial services, banking, credit unions, or partner-based business models.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent renewals involving legal, financial, and operational complexity.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams, including Account Executives, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
Comfort engaging directly with external financial institution partners to present renewal terms and facilitate agreement execution.
Business and contract-oriented mindset, with familiarity reviewing pricing, contractual terms, and renewal documentation.
Working knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements applicable to financial services and contract execution.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify risks, escalate issues, and support timely resolution.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to support client retention objectives without responsibility for new sales, prospecting, or ownership of ongoing client relationships
Location Expectations
This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
