SUMMARY
The Account Coordinator will assist with the management, maintenance, and renewal of high-profile sponsor accounts as well as provide administrative and departmental support. Account servicing may include assistance with the implementation, creation, and facilitation of promotions related to hospitality, community programs, media, and signage for all clients.
The individual will use independent judgment to prioritize and prepare recaps, book travel arrangements, prepare and edit correspondence, handle incoming correspondence and special requests. It is critical that the Account Coordinator has the ability and emotional maturity to exercise good judgment regarding confidential matters and hold high regard for ethical behavior. The individual should think proactively and suggest new ways to contribute to the team and clientele.
The Account Coordinator, Partnership Marketing will report to the Vice President, Partnership Marketing.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsible for the management, maintenance, renewal, and growth of 3-5 partner accounts. This includes the implementation of partnership assets, the creation and activation of promotions, oversight of hospitality packages, community programs, media, and signage.
- Manage the execution of partnership marketing strategies and sponsor events for various accounts and initiatives.
- Foster relationships with sponsors and media partners at senior levels to enhance collaboration and support departmental objectives.
- Collaborate with the Partnership Development and Partner Solutions teams to ensure accurate integration of inventory elements into sponsorship packages.
- Conduct research to identify new opportunities for corporate partner growth, aligning with their goals. Present innovative ideas and opportunities for business growth to partners, ensuring alignment with their objectives and awareness of market trends and the competitive landscape.
- Attend Brooklyn Nets home games and select events at Barclays Center to support sponsors and facilitate promotional activities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on sponsored programs, including game presentation, community relations, and ticketing.
- Manage a detailed digital LED signage schedule and liaise with Arena informational technology team to ensure flawless implementation.
- Traffic all television and radio advertising spots to broadcast partners.
- Manage Microsoft Outlook calendars for scheduling internal and external meetings, prioritizing business needs.
- Prepare and organize collateral for meetings, ensuring all materials are ready for review and approval by Senior Leadership.
- Draft and manage all outgoing correspondence, including emails and memos, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Perform complex administrative responsibilities while handling special client requests, which may include game tickets, merchandise, and gifts.
- Use CRM system for tracking of key business metrics, inventory tracking, reporting on partner accounts.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, partnership marketing, sponsorships, agency account management, corporate sales and/or client development required.
- Working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5%); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.
SALARY RANGE
$65,000 - $70,000
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The incumbent will work primarily in an office environment but will attend Brooklyn Nets home games and events at Barclays Center as assigned by their manager.
